There have only been a half-dozen shows, and yet to read the press and hear the comments, you would think Netflix had found the cure for cancer.
For years I have viewed “innovation” and “Netflix” as common bed fellows. I have talked and written about them many times in the past, and their culture deck is a must read for any entrepreneurs looking to build a great, sustainable company with innovation as a cornerstone to its culture.
So just when Hollywood thought it had Netflix figured out, the company flipped the script, creating a playbook for any business that aspires to upend an industry. Never afraid to make a mistake and then course correct, Reed Hastings now has a much more ambitious goal. If the past is any barometer, you shouldn’t bet against him.
Great article about how Netflix is disrupting and innovating Hollywood — again.
