I have been dealing with someone whose indecision is holding up a number of people and things for quite some time, and I thought I would share this great, simple, Seth Godin quote: you need to decide.

No, you don’t need to talk to more customers. No, you don’t need to do more market research. No, you don’t need to have another meeting to discuss.  No, you don’t need to do these other five things first and then you will get to it. No, you don’t need more time. You need to decide.

We procrastinate for many reasons: laziness, fear of making a mistake, fear of the consequences, politics, disorganization. The reality is, it takes just a few seconds to make a decision, and then you and the rest of your organization can move on to the next thing.

What are you waiting for?
